Livestream the 74th Springfield Police Academy Graduation
Graduation ceremonies for the officers of the 74th Springfield Police Academy will be held Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021 at Park Crest Baptist Church, 816 W. Republic Rd. at 7:00 pm.
The eight graduates have undergone 1,110 hours (27 weeks) of intense law enforcement training. Upon graduation, they will be assigned to an experienced field-training officer (FTO) for approximately 520 hours (13 weeks) of on-the-job training. Once they complete the FTO program, the new officers will be assigned to the Uniform Operations Bureau. Of the eight graduates, seven are Springfield Police Department Recruits and one graduate is a Springfield Fire Marshal returning to work for the Springfield Fire Department.

· 1 bachelor’s degree
· 1 associate degree
· 1 prior military
· 1 Springfield Fire Marshal
The ceremony will be closed to the public due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic but available for livestream on the SPD website (Springfieldmo.gov) Facebook page @SGFPolice.
