Join Councilman Abe McGull for coffee, conversation on the fourth Friday of each month

CoffeeWithMCGULLFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Zone 2 City Councilman Abe McGull wants to have coffee with you.

“A consistent citizen dialogue keeps me grounded in the hopes and dreams of the citizens I serve as their elected representative in Zone 2,” he says. “Turning a citizen or entrepreneur’s idea into a broader and progressive policy that benefits the entire community is fundamental to governance.”

McGull will host Coffee with Councilman McGull 9-10 a.m. on the fourth Friday of each month starting June 25 in the City Council office in the Busch Municipal Building. Anyone who would like to join him for coffee is asked to RSVP by calling 417-864-1650.

“I like to think of ‘coffee with my councilman’ as a means of better understanding the issues and concerns of my constituents and a chance for them to gain some insights about me as well,” he says.  “As Americans, we may not always agree on every issue, but we must be able to listen to our neighbors and friends to better understand the many paths in reaching a better future for ourselves and our children.”
