Workforce Vibe Talks About Creating Company Culture as an Employee Retention Strategy
The City’s Department of Workforce Development debuts its second season of Workforce Vibe by tackling the issue of worker retention. Sally Payne, Workforce Development Director for the City of Springfield, sits down with Greg Burris, President and CEO of United Way to talk about creating company culture.
“As we look at younger generations who are entering the workforce or switching jobs, we see that they really value the company’s culture and how they as employees will be able to positively impact their community,” said Sally Payne, Springfield’s Director of Workforce Development.
Sally’s guest Greg Burris talks about his organization’s efforts to help companies create or enhance that sense of community. United Way of the Ozarks is in the process of delivering more than 300 took kits to local companies filled with ways to engage their workforce in activities that positively impact the community.
