Springfield, Mo. – Experienced riders can now apply for Share the Road, the Springfield Police Department Traffic Section’s civilian motorcycle course. This one-day course, available for free to the public, gives riders tools to make them better riders to reduce the number of motorcycle crashes.
Share the Road covers advanced riding techniques, motorcycle handling, object avoidance, and other techniques and skills that help current riders be safer while on the road.
Course offering dates:
An interest application must be received at least four days prior to the course start date. Riders may apply for any course date at this time.
To participate, riders must have the following qualifications and equipment:
