Missouri Job Center and Elks Lodge #409 to Cohost Job Fair

The Missouri Job Center and Elks Lodge #409 are cohosting a Multi-Industry Job Fair on Wednesday, October 5, 10 am—1 pm, at the Elks Lodge, located at 223 E. Bennett in Springfield. The Job Fair features 28 area employers in a wide range of industries and is open to all job seekers.

“We are excited to partner with the Elks Lodge to connect employers to job seekers,” said Sally Payne, Director of Workforce Development for the City of Springfield. “We believe partnerships such as the one with the Elks provide us the opportunity to reach people where they are and help them find meaningful employment. Our thanks to the Elks for partnering on this project,” Payne added.

“Funds to support the effort were provided by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks National Foundation through a grant awarded to Springfield Elks Lodge #409,” said Nolan Moody, a Marine Corps Veteran and Elks member. “I am proud of the effort and interest shown by all involved,” he added. 

Participating employers include ABEC, AT&T, Amprod, Bernard Aldrich Trucking, Botanico of the Ozarks, City of Springfield, City Utilities, CKC Data Solutions, CoxHealth, Dairy Farmers of America, Great Southern Bank, JMARK, Jordan Valley Community Health, McCormick/French’s, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Myers/Buckhorn, O’Reilly Automotive, Positronic Industries, Prestressed Casting Co, Purcell Tire, Raising Cane’s, Securitas, Springfield-Greene County Library, SRC, T-Mobile, The Arc of the Ozarks, US Postal Service, and White Tornado.
