The City of Springfield is asking the community to provide input in the development of basic concept designs for the Grant Avenue Parkway corridor improvement project and corridor plan.
A Virtual Concept Development Event is scheduled 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 19, which will walk participants through a series of four basic design options developed using feedback from the public visioning phase.
The event will be broken up into the following segments focused on various portions of the project corridor:
- 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Fassnight Neighborhood (Sunshine to Grand)
- 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. - West Central Neighborhood (Grand to College)
- 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. - Downtown (College Street, Boonville, Mill, Main)
The virtual event will be livestreamed from grantavenueparkway.com and the City’s Facebook page. The event will also be recorded and broadcast on the City’s cable channels – Mediacom channel 15.1 and 80 and AT&T Uverse channel 99.
