#GetAmped to Revamp the Amp
Join us online today, Tuesday, May 9 for the Community Foundation of the Ozarks' 3rd Annual Give Ozarks! We need your help to repair and restore our 1936 WPA-era outdoor amphitheater. Our amphitheater includes the only surviving architecture from the Colonial Hotel - the columns that once graced its entrance - on Route 66 (formerly located at Jefferson & St. Louis). This historic outdoor performance space is a treasured part of the Phelps Grove Neighborhood, and the larger Springfield community.
The last repair work the amphitheater received was in 1989. Now after almost 30 years of weathering, wear and tear, and public use, much of the failing concrete is literally crumbling and needs to be replaced. In addition, the amphitheater needs greater accessibility to performers who are differently-abled, safety handrails, outdoor lighting and sound equipment, and commemorative signage.
Thanks to the efforts of Art Mosaic One, a Museum support group, we have already raised $10,000 in matching funds, meaning your gift today - as little as $5 - will be doubled up to $10,000! Each unique donation, large or small, puts us into the running for $100,000 in additional prize money distributed hourly - there is at least $1,500 up for grabs every hour.
Your support will make a HUGE impact.

Thank you for joining our community in preserving our cultural heritage by ensuring that our amphitheater continues to serve a vital arts enrichment role. After all, the spaces we provide for local artists to showcase their talents are vitally important.
