American Impressionism identity

Final Full Month of American Impressionism

Closes July 2, 2017

Don't miss your chance to see this incredible touring exhibit featuring over 100 works from the golden age of American Impressionism, organized by the Reading Public Museum in Reading, PA. Over 11,000 patrons have visited the Museum since this show opened in late April, pushing the Museum close to breaking its all-time attendance record of 56,000 visitors set in 2004. The Museum is one of the final stops for this iteration of the special exhibition. It will soon return to the Reading Public Museum and be re-worked to include French Impressionists and then continue traveling. Make sure to see it before it is gone forever! American Impressionism: The Lure of the Artists' Colony
appears at the Museum in part due to financial assistance from the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.

Give Ozarks 2017 Revamp the Amp

Give Ozarks 2017 Success!

Thank you to the more than 312 donors who helped us raise $21,017.50 on Give Ozarks, $18,907.50 of which came through the Give Ozarks online platform. The Museum ended up #15 out of over 240 nonprofit organizations in terms of dollars raised and #7 out of 240 in terms of number of individual donors. We were pleased to receive another Spirit Award for best overall marketing campaign and a Sally & Rob Baird Prize for the Arts.

Overall, Give Ozarks raised nearly $1.4 million in operating support, project-specific support, and endowments for nonprofit organizations across southwest Missouri. We are continually "wowed" by the incredible philanthropic spirit of our community and proud to have been a part of the 3rd annual Give Ozarks. A special thank you to Art Mosaic One, a Museum support group who helped plan and execute our "Revamp the Amp" campaign, including: Trish Hedrick, Betty Carlton, Betsy Walters, Karen Burmood, Jean Bardy, Joetta Engel, and Alice Phillips.
