My idea is not new, but very much needed, We moved from the country to the city, and did not realize how hard it is to walk in Springfield, Where we live, you have to walk in the road to get to walgreens, the dog park, etc..An elderly lady was on her scooter and had to get in the road and ride over railroad tracks just to get to the store. You cannot even walk to all the parks without walking in the road. Why is that the case? And can it be fixed?

I’ll bet there are a lot of property owners and tenants out there that don’t know the basics about property maintenance responsibilities. I’d volunteer time to help put something together that could be distributed electronically and reported on local outlets. Taking care of property you own, or inhabit, is a responsibility we all share.

In regards to the bathroom laws in some states some schools will lose funding over not letting boys using the girls room and so forth. If parents don't feel safe in sending there child to that schools then the parents have a right to be able to pull child out of plubic or privet school without judgment. If schools in our country are going to lose the money they need to educate them homeschool is a better option. They can still play sports play instruments act without school losing money.

My health is placed into jeopardy when I have to walk through a cloud of smoke. The smokers want to protect their right to smoke; I want to have my first amendment rights to health to be protected. The smokers leave unsightly cigarette butts at all public places. If the city took initiatives to leave the cigarettes at home, it might invite people to live here and build businesses. Next to cigarettes butts being a problem is chewing gum on parking lots and at business doors.

As a pedestrian who walks almost everywhere here in town; i cant even COUNT the times ive had to unsafly cross this busy street due to the lack of signs. This needs to be corrected IMMEDIATELY! Thank you to the City of Springfield in advance~
